Speed is incredibly important, and is a major factor in creating a good user experience. It’s not difficult to guess that the longer it takes your website to load, the more customers you’re likely to lose. Specifically, for every extra second your website takes to load, you’ll see a 7% drop in conversions. (The official research behind this is not currently available online).
We already do everything we can to ensure that our client’s websites are optimised for speed, and we are always proactively looking for new ways to increase load times even further. On mobile, speed is even more important, and we are currently specifically researching how to improve loading times on mobile devices.
